• Please attend the first annual "Ho Ho Ho Down" on December 4th to support fifth grade science camp!!! This is a fundraiser to lower the individual cost of attending camp.  Look for the lime green flyers and purchase your chance to win... the cow will be "fertilizing" the field and the winner of the square will win $$$!!

• Upcoming Tests / Projects:

• Social Studies- we are studying European explorers and the exporation of the New World.... students have started their  Explorer Project in class the week of November 2.  Plenty of time will be given in class for research and writing.  Work not finished in class will need to be done at home.  FINAL DUE DATE IS NOVEMBER 20.
• GEOGRAPHY- We will be doing weekly activities that require the use of an atlas.  Students may use their SS textbooks, an atlas, or the internet for these assignments.
• Science- we are learning about the systems of the body
• Fifth graders are continuing division skills... please practice facts at home daily!!
• Science Camp Interest surveys need to be returned ASAP (along with deposit if possible) ...there will be  fundraisers coming up... look for flyers in the Friday Mako Mailer envelopes!!   *CHAPERONE INFORMATION HAS BEEN SENT HOME ALSO- IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CHAPERONING, PLEASE RETURN FORM BY NOVEMBER 18.
